Selecting Items

Any item on the sketch can be selected by left-clicking on it once. When an item is selected you can use the cut, copy and delete buttons on them.

 

To select an area:

 

•Click in the middle of the area.
•Be sure not to click on an item inside the area such as the area label or calculations.

To select a line:

 

•Click on the line.
•Be sure to avoid the end points of the line.

To select a label:

 

•Click on the label.

 

You can also double click the label to edit the text.

To select an inserted image.

 

•Click on the image.
•Be sure to avoid the scaling handles.

To select a symbol.

 

•Click on the symbol.
•Be sure to avoid the scaling handles.

To select multiple items using the mouse:

 

•Click and hold at the top left corner of the items you want to select.
•Drag the mouse until all the the items you want to select are inside the selection box.
•Release the mouse.
•All items within the selection box will be selected.
